Arrive at Ngurah Rai Airport to a traditional flower garland welcome and a keepsake Udeng or Selendang. Visit the Bali Turtle Conservation center to learn about rescue and rehabilitation efforts, with a conservation certificate to take home. After lunch, continue to Uluwatu Temple for the Kecak Dance, a fire-lit retelling of the Ramayana performed by a circle of chanting dancers. The evening closes with grilled fish on Jimbaran Beach before transferring to the hotel.

Try your hand at batik painting in a workshop led by local artisans, working with wax and dye in age-old Javanese technique. Continue to the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary in Ubud, wandering moss-covered temples among resident macaques. After lunch, stroll Ubud Centre's art markets and rice-terrace views, then visit a silver and gold gallery to watch master silversmiths at work.

Visit Lake Beratan in the Bedugul highlands and the 17th-century Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, known for its reflection on the water. After lunch, choose between Secret Garden Village's coffee and beauty workshops or POD Chocolate's bean-to-bar tour, before continuing to Tanah Lot, an offshore sea temple and one of Bali's most photographed sunsets.
